In honour of Father’s Day, the Tourist Information Office with Oulu Region Tourist Guides offers an English walking tour for the whole family on Saturday Oct 8th.
The target is the island Pikisaari, which has an interesting history up to modern day as an artistic, cultural area. How did Pikisaari children spend their free time? How were family life and fatherhood for seamen and sea captains, who had to stay on board for years?
The tour starts at the market square by the Toripolliisi policeman statue at 1 p.m.
