This tour is just for you if you have come to explore the city of Oulu. What hidden gems does Oulu have to offer? What is special and new here? Literature, theatre, exhibitions, music – and what else?

We walk from Franzén Park at the foot of the church, through places where people gather, and continue on to the Market Square waterfront. Sometimes jokingly referred to as a “shitty town,” Oulu wants to tell you its true story – what people in Oulu are passionate about and what the city genuinely offers to its visitors.
